Does it seem like a joke? Yes, yes it does. Does Obama deserve this award? Hell no! A President as divisive in his own country as Barack Hussein Obama who uses Race when needed certainly does not deserve such a prize that is clearly losing esteem or any real meaning. Granted, it doesn't always go to right people. Oh, I know he pretends to be the man who brings people together for the Beer Summits, but the reality is far different.
One thing Barack Obama has proven he's good at, is making issues about himself. If America is wrong, he had nothing do with it. Even when America is in the right it's wrong. He likes to use the word "I" alot, never "we." Under his leadership all should be forgiven because he's in charge now. Our country has never looked so weak. If weak makes for a leader of Peace, then perhaps he deserves it. God knows he will relish the award as it is all about him every day while he is in the Office of The President Of The United States. This award is strictly for one person and in that, good for him.
"I do not view it as a recognition of my own accomplishments. But rather as an affirmation of American leadership. ... I will accept this award as a call to action." The same leadership you constantly berate, degrade and denounce every chance you get abroad?
"This award is not simply about my administration," he said. It "must be shared" with everyone who strives for "justice and dignity." Here we are with the public face and the use of the "my"s and "I"s. We know what you really mean.
I just wonder how such an organization could give such an award based on everything Obama represents and has associated with all his life. Well, we know the answer to that. It's about liberalism and a weak America and those in favor of this new reality will push for it every chance they get.
Now about that little war and helping those troops you promised you'd help protect during your campaign.
